Two kinds of bag, sold from one shelf
Evergreen Handbags is an online retailer in Thane, Maharashtra selling handbags and
totes for one person, and plain non-woven and cotton totes by the pack for shops and events. We sell online only;
there is no counter to visit.
Why the range looks the way it does
Most bag shops sell one thing: either fashion bags or wholesale carriers. We ended up with both because the
two questions people ask are the same question in different clothes — will it hold what I need to
carry? A woman buying a crossbody for a commute and a shop owner buying a hundred totes for a counter are
both trying to work that out from a photograph, and a photograph will not tell them.
So the listings here lead with the things a photograph hides: the closure, whether the strap adjusts, the
fabric, and for the packs, the count the maker prints on the carton. Where a figure is not stated by the maker,
we leave it out rather than estimate it.
